If you adopted one of these kittens, please post an update on how they are doing in the comments section of one of the blog entries. We are fostering out kittens from Homeward Pets.

Goodbye Christmas Trio!

Today we said goodbye to Grayson, Alvin, and Noelle when we took them back to Homeward Pets for their surgeries. We would have adopted all three of them if we could, but we know that they will find loving, caring 'forever' homes. Our foster-momma-cat already misses them.

While these wonderful kittens adoptions are still pending, you can check out their page on the Homeward Pets website here.

It's been a joy taking care of them for the last month and we'd love to be updated on how the kittens are doing! If you have adopted one of these kittens please comment on this post and tell us how they are!

As we do for all of the kittens we've taken care of, we've made a video to say goodbye to them:

Now we'll leave you with some cute pictures of the Christmas Trio!

More Fun with the Christmas Trio

We've been playing with the Christmas Trio for a couple weeks now and have decided on their names.

The playful, white, boy kitten is Alvin:

The mellow, gray boy kitten is Grayson:

And the rambunctious, grey girl kitten is Noelle:

As we play with and nurture these young kittens, they continue to get closer to 2lbs -- the weight at which the vet can perform their surgeries. Their personalities have also started flourishing and by now are pretty well defined. We have noticed that Noelle, the playful girl kitten is pretty aggressive over food and have started feeding the kittens separately. She would growl at the other two kittens and occasionally swat them away from the food bowl!

The kittens have maintained their parent-child relationship with Bindi, our cat. Even though the kittens don't try to nurse as much, Bindi still enjoys putting a kitten under her arm and licking it.

We took the kittens in to be weighed and their weights ranged from 1lb-4oz to 1lb-10oz so next week will probably be the week where we take them back to Homeward Pets to begin the next stage of their lives: being adopted into their 'Forever' Homes.
